Easel card with filigree bow

This easel card was designed for one of my niece's birthdays in November last year - I am not sure that I like it as much as some of my designs, but she seemed to like it well enough. The design is again freely shared on the UKS site. I think I was probably pushed for time as it was nearing Christmas and I was very late with my cards - not very well organised!

- I retired from my job as a legal secretary just over 10 years ago and was then able to devote a lot more time to my passion for cardmaking and scrapbooking, although I have to say that I do far more cardmaking than scrapping. About 8 years ago I bought a craft robo and entered a whole new dimension of crafting. I started to design my own templates and have now developed my own style. When the Cameo was released with its larger capacity and deeper cutting I was in 7th heaven, apart from initial problems with the new ratchet blade (which have now been sorted). I derive enormous pleasure from designing, cutting and assembling my designs and sharing them freely with others on the UKS site (for personal use). I have four grandchildren, ranging in age from 23 years down to 8 years. I am enormously proud of my children and of my grandchildren. I love being a grandma - such a special relationship, quite different to a mother/child relationship. Crafting has brought me solace during difficult times and so much pleasure.
