This one is for my niece's birthday in November - I'm trying to get all my birthday cards finished so I can start on the Christmas cards!! I fiddled about with this design for quite a time before I was satisfied with the way it looks. I put a piece of Centura Pearl 300 gsm through my printer so it was a pale mauve colour. It cut really well on the Cameo, although I did do a double cut. I was quite pleased with the semi-circular border which is cut in the same card as the main card, the font is arial, made into a stencil by use of the knife tool on the Cameo. A few beads as flower centres just finishes it off nicely. The template is shared on uks as usual.

My son has a birthday coming up next month and it is always difficult to come up with suitable ideas. Being as how is a tennis fan and belongs to a local tennis club I thought perhaps he might appreciate a tennis related card and this is the result. The base card is Centura Pearl 300 gsm and the raquets and ball are cut from plain white 250 gsm card and coloured with pro markers. The font used is good old Times Roman which I have outlined slightly and then made into a stencil font with the aid of the knife tool. The template is on the UKS site as usual.
Designed for my niece's birthday on 18th August. A pale pink mat with half flower stencil cut edge, laid on a mat of silver mirri, a smaller scalloped mat was then "cuttlebugged" and placed on top. The circular lacy mat was cut in the pale pink and backed with a white mat. The central text mat was backed with silver mirri. The whole thing fitted onto a 5 inch square card and was reasonably flat for posting.
