Another Christmas card - poinsetta circle this time, again using the font WW Flakes for the circle and for the central poinsetta - a few strategically placed beads and a blob of glitter glue finish this one off!
I retired from my job as a legal secretary just over 10 years ago and was then able to devote a lot more time to my passion for cardmaking and scrapbooking, although I have to say that I do far more cardmaking than scrapping.
About 8 years ago I bought a craft robo and entered a whole new dimension of crafting. I started to design my own templates and have now developed my own style. When the Cameo was released with its larger capacity and deeper cutting I was in 7th heaven, apart from initial problems with the new ratchet blade (which have now been sorted).
I derive enormous pleasure from designing, cutting and assembling my designs and sharing them freely with others on the UKS site (for personal use).
I have four grandchildren, ranging in age from 23 years down to 8 years. I am enormously proud of my children and of my grandchildren. I love being a grandma - such a special relationship, quite different to a mother/child relationship. Crafting has brought me solace during difficult times and so much pleasure.
