Broderie Birthday

I made this one for a dear friend whose birthday was in February. Decorated with ribbon and beads - I was quite pleased with the way it looked. The template is on the UKS site.

This has to be one of my favourites - it took me quite a long time to get it lined up properly and I had a lot of fun composing the floral text. I was pleased with the end result, I may give this to my middle granddaughter who has a birthday in March, or my sister who also has a birthday at the end of March. I'm working on another of these gatefold designs which I shall post when it's finally finished.

Tiime for another

I designed this one for my nephew's birthday on the 21st of this month to remind him how time is flying! I find men a bit difficult to design for, especially if they don't have any particular hobbies. I think he will like this one!

This is a little heart easel I designed with Valentines Day in mind! I glued a bit of lace behind the lattice heart mat and decorated with some mulberry flowers - it looks quite sweet!

Crossover card with butterfly

This is something a little bit different which I have designed for my eldest granddaughter's birthday next month. The two sides have little tabs which fit into slots so that it has a rounded effect. It was a bit fiddly to get the slots in the right place, but I got there in the end and I am quite pleased with the end result.
This is the card I made for my middle granddaughter - the borders are the same but I have used a different central mat. Once the borders are lined up it was quite a simple card to do.

I designed this card for one of my granddaughters - the front of the card is cut away and has a snowflake edge. The top part of the inside of the card has a star edge so that when the card is closed the snowflakes and stars line up nicely. I did a smilar design for my other granddaughter . I was quite pleased with these two. The snowflake was very simply designed in studio.
