circular Birthday card

This one's a little bit different in that it has the circular topper extending above the fold line. I've used a very pale pink for the main card and a darker shade for the topper and backing. Done in a broderie anglais style with pink satin ribbon and clear glass beads, darker pink beads round the central mat. Made for my daughter in law who has a birthday at the beginning of July.

Scalloped card with leaf design

Have just finished this design for my niece who has a birthday next month. A simple idea, but it looks quite effective. I've used ivory for the main card and a pale green for the backing. I've used a dark green satin ribbon and paler green beads for decoration. The flower is a simple daisy design in different sized layers. I was quite pleased with this one.
