Another variation on chrysanthemum card
I suddenly realised it is my cousin's birthday on the 11th of this month and quickly put together with this card which is fairly flat for posting. The butterfly wings and the chrysanthemum petals just lift up from the card to give them a bit of dimension. I have backed it with silver mirri paper and unfortunately the photo does not really do it justice
Merry Little Christmas (1)
Merry little Christmas (2)
This is the second of the Merry Little Christmas cards, the same snowflake mats and a scalloped central mat with satin silver ribbon threaded through and a central poinsetta. I am rather pleased with this one - a nice understated look I think!
Merry little Christmas (3)
I was pleased with the snowflake mats that I've used for the other 2 Merry Little Christmas cards so I thought I would put a Noel bauble in the centre of this one. It's nice and warm and cheerful in the red and white - which is more than can be said for the weather at the moment. Really fed up with the thick ice on the pavements and on the estate roads - I think most of us will be really glad to see the back of it. Can't say I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!
