Get well soon

My DIL is going into hospital for an op soon and this is the card I shall be sending to her with my get well wishes.  It is the first card I have designed since I lost my files, but hopefully there will be more in due course.  The template is shared on the UKS site as always

White lace 50th

I designed this white lace card for my niece's 50th at the end of this month.  I had cut it all out and assembled it, but I had not yet posted the template on UKS when I lost all of my cutting files which I mistakenly thought I had backed up on an external drive.  To cut a long sad story short I had to download all the files I had shared on the UKS site in order to get at least some of my files back.  I had a large folder of "work in progress" which of course is lost so I am now gradually building up my files again.  I have no-one to blame but myself and I have learned my lesson - files are now backed up onto a flash drive and an external hard drive!!  I may re-create the file some day but not just yet.

Ballet diorama

My youngest granddaughter had her 10th birthday in July and I thought she would like this ballet diorama card.  The figures are produced using the font ballet and the blue sky is a background from the studio software, add a few leaves and branches and it makes quite a nice card.  The template is on the UKS site as usual.

Fancy edged lattice card

I designed this card for my lovely daughter's birthday this month.  I saw the basic idea on C & C a while back which was achieved by using a punch.  I thought it was rather different and a nice idea so decided to fashion my own take on it.  I have used the same foldover flower which I used on my sister's card.  I was very pleased with the way this card looks - hope my daughter likes it.  The template as ever is on UKS

Diorama

This is the one I designed for my little grandson's birthday in April.  They have a lovely house with a big garden and wild rabbits at the bottom of the garden so this little card tells a story.  My grandson loves all things crafty, in particular he is fascinated by my Cameo, he can't take his eyes off it when it is cutting and also loves to use my Cuttlebug.  I cut some pieces of card the right size and he will happily emboss away.  I hope he never loses his love of craft.  The template as always is on the UKS site.

Pop out with folding flower detail

I designed this one for my dear sister's birthday in March this year.  I wanted to do something a little bit special for her.  Sadly I lost one of my sisters a couple of years ago so my remaining sister is very precious to me.  I put a lot of work and a lot of love into this card and it was very much appreciated by my sis.

Lattice butterfly easel card

Another easel for another granddaughter!  Decorated with a ribbon border and of course some beads! Not quite so sure of the colours on this one - I don't think they have come out too well on this photo.  The template is on the UKS site
